Many have entered my life over the years of this diary. Now, six years after this entry was originally posted, I will attempt to recreate it in a way that reflects the current cast of characters in the production of my life.
Joey : There's something to be said about someone who doesn't have to see you or even hear your voice to know that you are hurting. He's the one man that I can love completely, knowing absolutely that my heart will never be broken by his hands. We have been dating for two years now, and although hard times have been plentiful, I couldn't imagine not having him by my side. While not yet engaged, we are thinking of a wedding in 2010, when we graduate from our undergraduate degrees at St. Francis Xavier University.

Jessica : We've had our ups and downs, but she has always been close enough [across the street!] to go to when something is wrong. She is my best friend, and the best there is, as far as I'm concerned. She can be scary at times, despite her small stature, but she has a huge heart that truly shines for those she loves and holds dear. She is currently working towards her undergraduate degree also at St.FX University, and I'm so glad that we are able to see each other anytime, all year round. It's definitely kept our friendship from growing cold.
James : While being relatively metrosexual, caring far too much about his appearance to the point that we've had to cover mirrors in his dorm room at St.FX [which he shared with Joey in our freshman year], James is very much interested in the ladies and is unfortunately single. He is an aspiring pediatrician, and will make a darn good one at that. Our little travel bug, James has been all over the world, taking with him knowledge and hope for those not as fortunate as he.
Marisa : This girl has been by my side since kindergarten, and is one of the most loyal people I know. She is currently enrolled in the concurrent education program at the University of New Brunswick, and she spends her summers away at camp, so we don't often get to see her, although we would certainly love to.
